How it Works
-
Trademark Consultation
Our experienced attorneys will review your brand and trademark to ensure that your brand is unique and registerable with the USPTO. We will guide you through the application process, providing you with a clear understanding of the necessary administrative and descriptive information required by the USPTO to register your trademark or service mark.
-
Trademark Application
The USPTO requires both administrative information about the trademark applicant, and descriptive information about the trademark you wish to register. We have developed a straightforward workflow to help you efficiently organize the necessary information to make the application process seamless.
-
Trademark Search
Our attorneys will conduct a thorough search of existing federally registered trademarks and service marks to determine whether your brand meets the requirements for registration. We not only review the mark itself, but the products and services to which they relate. We will consider multiple factors including appearance, sound, spelling, and other variations of your mark to determine its availability.
-
Examination Process
After the trademark search, we will file the application and wait for an examining attorney to be assigned and provide you with the critical information regarding your application. During the examination process, we will review and address any Office Actions (rejections) by drafting a formal response on your behalf. Upon preliminary acceptance, your mark will be published for a 30-day period, and if there is no opposition, your mark will receive an official registration certificate.
